How Long Should You Expect To Gamble Before Being Consistently Profitable?
Posted on 15. Jul, 2010 by admin.
One of the main mistakes many online gambler make is that they expect to make a huge profit right from when they start. When they see that this is not the case, they get discouraged and usually quit. But, how long should you expect to play before you actually become consistently profitable?
The answer to this question will vary for almost every game you play and how much skill you actually have. But, generally speaking, if you are not profitable after playing a game for a few weeks, you need to change something.
More often than not, it is your strategy that will need tweaking. If you go through your game histories, you can usually see a few places where you can improve and a few places that you need to keep an eye on. It is extremely uncommon for someone to design a strategy and become profitable right from when they start using it.
If your strategy is near perfect and you are still not making money, you may just be on an unlucky streak. This happens more often than people would like to admit. Sometimes, you just have to keep on playing and sustain the losses until your luck turns.
The one thing you should never do, though, is quit. Once you quit, you give up all the hard work you put in and will have nothing to show for it. Quitters never win and winners never quit. Keep working and success will eventually come your way.
